The Fishin' Weather Project

The Fishin' Weather Project is an after school program in which male 6th through 8th grade students are being given the opportunity to discover the world of meteorology and how it effects fishing.

Originating as a project funded by a grant from the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, it has truly turned into a community collaborative effort. It is our hope that through this opportunity, these young men will see an expanded world, not just what is happening on their block. As the program continues there will be updates on our progress. A site has been created to more thoroughly documents and describes the program at thefishinweatherproject.com The below photo gallery documents some of the highlights of the Fishin' Weather Project.
